Question: You manufacture precision cast parts. Ordinarily, any
one of your 12 employees knows someone who
can fill an open position. You tell them
unofficially that you prefer that they bring
applicants who are U.S. citizens-and you
fill out the I-9 form for everyone they
bring. Are you in compliance with INA?

Answer:
No,
you are not in compliance with INA. Unless
otherwise required by law, you cannot have
"citizens only" hiring policies.
If you insist on doing so, you are engaging
in citizenship status discrimination.
